Introduction
SAP UX Design challenge: November 2017: Benjamin, the CFO of MAXIVICE a global producer of sporting fashion & accessories, is asked to prepare the budget for 2018. As one of the biggest contributor to theexpenses are travel costs, he needs to know the estimated travel expenses for the company for 2018. He starts a workflow to collect this data from the financial leaders of the different regions (APJ, EMEA & NA). As a reference Benjamin sends the actual travel expenses of 2017 along. He needs the data by 31st of January 2018, to report them to Henry, the CEO of MAXIVICE. The financial leaders of the regions distribute the work to the leaders of the countries, but change the deadline to 27th of January to have enough time to review the data, before sending it to Benjamin. Benjamin and the region leaders can monitor the progress of the task, who is involved, time frames, completion rate, status… etc. at any time.

Benjamin Fizz, CFO of MAXIVICE – As a senior executive responsible for managing the financial actions of a huge sporting fashion & accessories company MAXIVICE, Benjamin has to track cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. As Benjamin is responsible for managing the finance and accounting divisions and for ensuring that the financial reports are accurate and complete, he collects data from the financial leaders of different regions to prepare travel expenses budget for 2018. It is very important to him to have a trustful overview of the whole workflow.
The Problem: It takes a lot of effort to keep track of the whole process until all data is collected.
The Goal: The whole process should work automatically without any stress.

Administration and User Rights Concept
Overview
This page shows all different roles with different user administration rights. This User Experience starts from a request of CEO, Henry to CFO, Benjamin Fizz to collect actual spends of the travel costs from employees this year. The Country Leaders needs to provide this information before the deadline to the Region Leaders. The Region Leaders needs to collect this information and needs to submit before the second deadline to the Global Leader Benjamin Fizz, CFO. At the end the CFO, Benjamin will provide the actual spends of the travel costs from employees this year to the CEO.

Conclusion
The main objective is to provide a calculation solution for big companies which are placed in different regions across the world. Here in this example the big company is MAXIVICE. This solution helps CFOs to prepare and estimate the budget plan for traveling cost of the employees next year. The entire workflow can be monitored by the CFO Benjamin Fizz and CEO to track the progress of collecting information via a process. The information will be collected from the financial leaders of different regions. (APJ, EMEA and NA) CFO Benjamin Fizz and the region leaders can monitor the progress of the task, who is involved, time frames, completion rate, status… etc. at any time. This UX Concept provides a clean, modern workflow of this scenario and compelling UI design.
